MENA College of Management was organized in 2013 licensed by the Ministry of Education in 2014.

In January 2015 MCM obtained Initial Accreditation for four Bachelor’s degree programs in specialized fields of management. In September 2015 the first students enrolled in the Bachelor of Human Resource Management. These same four programs are offered today.

MCM is organized as a Free Zone LLC. Its first campus was in the Dubai International Academic City Free Zone. Despite its status as a free zone entity, MCM has always been licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education.

Since the opening, the total number of enrolled students has been gradually increasing.

MCM’s programs since the College’s opening have primarily served working students. Classes are scheduled in the evenings and weekends to accommodate these students’ needs.

The first major rebirth happened with MCM in 2016 when the total look was changed when the new logo and slogan were adapted.

In 2017 MCM was visited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation as part of its re-licensure process. The College was granted renewal of the licensure for five years in September 2018.

In 2018 the College moved to its current, centrally located Jumeirah campus in May 2018. The campus has 13 classrooms and has a seating capacity for 390 students.

In 2019 MENA College of Management entered into an agreement for academic cooperation including faculty and student exchanges, and new program development, with EM Normandie, a leading business school in France.

MCM also has an agreement for cooperation with the school of Business of Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.

Locally, some MCM students are subsidized in their study by local sponsors such as Dubai Ambulance Corporation, or by the private offices of leading sheiks. Of students not subsidized, 95% receive some form of financial assistance.

MCM graduated its first students in Spring 2017-2018. The first graduation ceremony was held in December 2019.

In fall 2020 MCM has 14 full-time faculty. Twelve of the faculty hold doctoral degrees from universities in eight different countries. MCM’s faculty are involved in research and scholarship as well as teaching. Faculty associated with MENA College of Management has produced 12 academic papers in the past three years.

MCM has adopted as its motto “Change your Life. Start Here.”

The College has developed its next Strategic Plan in the Academic year 2020-2021, covering the period through 2025.
