  • Institutional Effectiveness and Quality Assurance Officer

    MENA College of Management is looking for a dedicated & committed Quality Assurance Officer.

    Reports to:  Head of Institutional Effectiveness and Quality Assurance

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administer various surveys including those related to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and employers, and analyze the data collected through those surveys
    • Support the Head of IE & QA in compiling data and preparing regular reports to CHEDS, KHDA, or other external bodies as required.
    • Prepare reports as requested on student achievement, in coordination with the Admission and Registration office.
    • Report on the achievement of planning targets and KPIs
    • Develop and administer new data collection mechanisms, including surveys, as required.
    • Develop the College annual Fact Book, in coordination with the Marketing office.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Development Planning and Quality Assurance


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in IEQA
    • Use of computer programs
    • Fluent in English and Arabic languages

    MENA College of Management invite  applications for the position of
    Academic Dean. The position is available from September 01, 2020. Starting date is negotiable with the successful candidate.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The Academic Dean is the Chief Academic Officer of the College, and reports to the President
    • He/she is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the College’s academic programs, working within the framework provided by the College’s policies and strategic plans.
    • The Academic Dean provides leadership to MCM’s faculty to ensure consistent quality standards in delivering curricula and programs that meet the needs of students.
    • He/she provides leadership in long-range academic planning, curriculum and program development, and academic budgeting.
    • The Academic Dean ensures compliance with various accreditation requirements and supports the College in its outreach activities locally and internationally.
    • He/she encourages and supports the faculty’s activities in research, publication and other scholarly activities. The Academic Dean teaches half of a standard academic load.


    Qualifications:

    • An earned doctorate in a field related to Management.
    • Proven experience in the academic management of an HEI, preferably at the level of Dean or above.
    • At least five years of post-doctoral teaching experience in an area of specialization relevant to the College’s academic programs.
    • A record of research and scholarship that would qualify the candidate for an appointment at Associate Professor rank or above
    • Experience in program design and development, directing the work of academic committees, and facilitating outreach by faculty to the wider community.
    • A thorough understanding of national and international accreditation practices. Experience with accreditation in the United Arab Emirates is an advantage
    • Knowledge of trends and developments in higher education and their implications for strategic planning, particularly for specialized private HEIs
    • Communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective shared governance and foster a collegial working environment.
    • A strong devotion to ethics in the workplace
    • Previous experience in the United Arab Emirates is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
