IQRA Bilingual University (IBU) Senegal Signs MOU
IQRA Bilingual University (IBU) of the IQRA Bilingual Academy Senegal in West Africa region today has signed a wide ranging MoU with MCM with a mission to explore and facilitate student admissions, collaborative degree programs, Mobility of faculty and Students, research partnerships, Continuing Education for human Capacity Building, staff training and skills development.
IQRA Bilingual University is an upcoming project of IQRA Bilingual Academy licensed by the Ministry of Education in Senegal and accredited by the Middle States Association in the United States. It promotes a high quality international education in an Islamic and culturally diverse learning environment and follows an American college preparatory curriculum. The language of instruction is English, while French and Arabic are taught as a second language.
MENA College President Prof. Abdel Moneim warmly welcomed Ms. Nieshaakema JAMES-SARR, President and founder of the Academy and signed the agreement in the presence of other members of the Senegal delegation on Monday, December 04, 2017.
President Moneim congratulated the Senegal Academy and IBU for this success and offered all assistance and support to the programs and activities planned under the agreement that will strengthen the Senegal society and bring the UAE and Senegal closer.
Dr. Mohan Agarwal, Director of Continuing Education and Community Engagement hosted the delegation and discussed details of the forthcoming capacity building programs for the government and business leaders of Senegal
MoU with Academic Consortium for Education, Research and Business
MENA College of Management Dubai today signed MoU with UAE’s Academic Consortium for Education, Research and Business.
The consortium is a collaborative effort between all UAE universities supporting UAE Vision 2021, in a bid to develop a highly educated and well-skilled workforce and to address fundamental industry-relevant research initiatives. The consortium will work closely with industry and government to create additional opportunities for students, such as internships and work placements as well as launching specific research initiatives.
President Prof. Abdel Moneim welcomed the signing as a step to make MCM research driven and to promote our International Conference with Boston University in June 2018.
Kazakstan International Linguistics College Signs Cooperation
Kazakstan International Linguistics College (KILC) has entered an agreement with the MCM College of Management (MCM Dubai) for academic collaboration including to host International Student and Faculty Exchange Immersion Programs and facilitate Kazaks young nationals to join the MCM Continuing Education courses and Bachelor programs.
Mr. Azamat Alissov, Managing Director, Kazakhstan International Linguistics College visited MCM College on Friday, November 17, 2017 for the purpose and met Prof. Abdel Moneim M.B.Ahmed President of the MENA College of Management and signed the cooperation.
President Prof. Abdel Moneim warmly welcomed the Kazak delegation on campus and spoke of his deep affection and interest in cooperation with Kazakstan for mutual benefits and outlined several directions of cooperation.
Dr Mohan Agarwal, Director of Continuing Education and Community Engagement discussed the plans to implement the cooperation and launch global immersion courses for Kazaks at MCM College and leadership and internship programs for Emirati nationals in Kazakstan.
BrandMoxie signs MOU for Impact Media, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training
BrandMoxie – a leading media and communication powerhouse in Abu Dhabi has signed a MoU with the MCM college of Management with a mission to collaborate and jointly deliver impact-learning on strategic communication and Media, Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship, Innovation, Digital marketing and Emirati Leadership among many other areas of Government Excellence in the UAE.
The MOU was signed by Prof. Abdel Moneim M.B.Ahmed President of the MENA College of Management and Ms. Sana Bagersh, Chief Executive Officer of BrandMoxie.
“We recognize that we are in a rapidly changing economic landscape with new social and technological realities. While traditional academic programmes will always form the foundation of education, there’s a critical need for the integration of new learnings that address the transformations around us,” said President Prof. Abdel Moneim Ahmed.

EduChain Inc. signs MoU
Educhain, a leading blockchain startup in educational technology, and MENA College of Management (MCM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a pilot of Educhain’s blockchain credentialing solution.
Educhain enables academic institutions to issue official digital academic credentials. Using blockchain technology, Educhain is building an infrastructure of trust to facilitate seamless exchange and authentication of digital credentials, and enable a comprehensive “academic passport” of student achievement through all levels of education.
The MoU was signed between Mark Balovnev, Chief Executive Officer of Educhain, and Prof. Abdel Moneim M.B. Ahmed, President of MCM on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
Mark Balovnev, CEO of Educhain, commented: “In any exchange of traditional academic documents, trust is the limiting factor. By leveraging blockchain technology to issue notarized digital credentials that are easily shareable for students and verifiable for recipients, the attestation process is streamlined. MOU Signed with the Universal Academic Management Organization (UAMO)
Universal Academic Management Organization (UAMO) and MENA College of Management (MCM) Dubai have signed a Memorandum of Association (MoU) with a mission for collaboration in joint training and certification in continuing education, leadership and management training programs, hospitality management and other relevant areas of mutual expertise and interests.
The MoU was signed between Mr. Mohammed Al Zaabi, Chief Executive Officer of UAMO and Prof. Abdel Moneim M.B.Ahmed, President of the MENA College on Tuesday, November 07, 2017.

MENA College Co-hosts Roundtable on Workforce Career Development, Skills, Competencies and Employability
MENA College of Management (MCM) co-hosted with AMIDEAST and ETS Global a Roundtable on workforce career development, career pathways, employability skills, and competency development on November 01, 2017.
Senior counsellors and faculty of the Amideast UAE, American University in the Emirates, American Leadership Board, Amity University Dubai, Educhain USA, ETS Global Jordan, ETS Global France, Fujairah University, UAE, IMT Dubai, MENA College of Management, RAK Medical University and the Universal Academic Management Organisation attended and made rich contribution to the Roundtable.
Dr. Abdel Moneim M. B. Ahmed, President MCM College and Ms. Rula M. Dajani, Country Director Amideast welcomed the delegates and underlined the importance of the roundtable on the Workforce Career Development, Skills, Competencies and Employability.
The highlight of the Round Table was Dr. Daniel Hawthorne, Director I/O Solutions, WorkFORCE® Innovation Global Education at University of Missouri, USA, who analyzed key challenges facing the workforce today in career development and employability and proposed several approaches and solutions through the Workforce®.
Dr. Mohan Agrawal, Professor and Director of Continuing Education and Community Engagement (CECE) and co-host of the Round table provided the GCC context with such challenges as the introduction of VAT, Digital Governance and non-oil economy and facilitated the Roundtable. The discussion concluded with a call for a full research study on the challenges of workforce career development, skills and competencies and employability in the Gulf Region and tasks for reorienting educational institutions and employers.
Amideast and ETS Global heartily supported the Roundtable recommendations. MENA College of Management proposed to follow through and invited delegates and sponsors to support and develop workforce career development, skills and competencies and employability in academics towards the UAE vision for 2020.
DIAC Open Day (24th October 2017)
MENA College of Management (MCM) marks its presence on 24th October 2017 for the DIAC Open day. The event was organized by Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) to provide a common platform to the higher education service providers, students, parents, student counselors & working professionals to interact and explore various academic and careers enhancement program. MENA College of Management (MCM) was also a part of the open day to counsel students, about the different programs, admission requirement, and scholarship opportunities offered at MCM. We provided an extended counseling to student and parents about the different academic programs and their current available demand in the market along with future projections. We answer the inquisitive interest of the students related with entry requirement, admission fee, programs having higher employability in the region, scholarship facilities and foundation programs. Such events provided a rich ground for a healthy academic counselling and provided all in one information at one place.
Damanhur University (Egypt) Visit to MCM
On 25th May 2017, the President of Damanhur University Egypt, Professor Ebeed Saleh accompanied with senior academician from the university visited MENA College of Management to initiate platform for collaboration. Professor Abdel Moneim Ahmed the President of MENA College of Management welcomed the visiting guests and discussed the potential possibilities of various ideas for collaboration between both institutions.
National Charity Schools signs MOU with MENA College of Management
A partnership designed to support various educational initiatives along with student’s engagement and development in the region has been developed by MENA College of Management (MCM) and National Charity Schools.
Dr. Kamal Farhat, National Charity School’s Directorate General, and Prof. Abdel Moneim M. B. Ahmed, President – MENA College of Management have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that has established a fast-track entry route for the students of 105 National Charity Schools in the region into the several Bachelor Programs offered at MCM.
Dr. Kamal Farhat said: “Secondary education and higher education are strongly integrated. This kind of agreements limits a lot of transition’s associated issues the freshmen face at the university. Thus, His Excellence – Mr. Juma Al Majed- the Founder and Dr. Aref Al Sheikh- Head of Board of Trustees of the charity schools supports this collaboration for the benefit of our students, to see and learn about their future education before graduating from High school and gain more knowledge about the university life. This kind of partnership is also an opportunity for our teachers and other staff members for training and development through workshops and seminars MENA College of Management can offer them for the good of the students”.
Prof. Abdel Moneim M. B. Ahmed, President – MENA College of Management, added: “We are delighted to be working with National Charity Schools as this partnership ties in very well with MCM’s core values of Community Engagement. To attract the top students of the National Charity Schools, we will be awarding numerous Academic Scholarships with full tuition fees waiver and additional partial waivers. The aim is to conduct regular seminars at NCS’s to educate students and their parents about various program offering and help them choose the right career paths which will ensure the smooth transition from the school to the university.”
As part of the MoU, both organizations agreed to encourage networking across their large and growing professional communities in the region, and to support the quality of academic programs at both institutions.
Customer Engagement Technology Symposium
SAP Dubai hosted Customer Engagement Technology Symposium on Sept 13th. 2017.
The Symposium attracted key decision-makers from over 200 organizations across various industries to discuss and connect the cutting-edge technology and strategies that revolutionize business-customer relationships.
The Symposium highlighted the role of new and cutting edge technology in enhancing customer insights and experiencing.
Dr. Mohan Agarwal, Professor of business & Director MCM Continuing Education and Community Engagement contributed to the deliberations and interactions. SAP and MENA College are also exploring further collaboration.
